AskaboutValidation was a community forum for  life science and healthcare  experts interacting and sharing the latest aproaches to ensuring regulatory compliance within an international web-based platform for information exchange. Forum discussions drew attention of 30 000 specialists.

In 2009, In’saneLab  took up the challenge of improving solutions and tools for the most demanding readers. In order to increase sales, we had to restructure and redesign to ensure scalability, flexibility (the ease of the portal’s further growth), ease of use (user experience) and comprehensive security.

Results? Sales increase of 70%.

Dynamic growth of AskaboutValidation necessitated a constant security increase and a dynamic customization to rapidly evolving needs.

To broaden the target group of AskaboutValidation, we created a separate e-learning platform. LearnaboutGMP is a growing library of courses, books and webinars for specialists of various scientific disciplines.

We considered the needs of users, as well as the latest trends in the industry. We adapted the processes and interactions to work smoothly on an ever-increasing number of  cross-platform  devices. Full responsiveness of the service resulted in decrease of the bounce ratio of mobile users.

What was the outcome of our strategy?

Merging the brandsone to rule them all

The company had two platforms – one for sales, and the other for community. Together with our Client, we decided to merge these into a single web environment. What we achieved in the process was a redirection of tremendous, community-generated traffic, into the sales service.

We prepared a brandbook with all the brand values and usage guides. We took care about the basic logo’s usage across all of the possible outlets. All that to ensure a seamless experience across the platform and a consistent image – wherever.

USER’S EXPERIENCE FIRST THING TO TAKE CARE OF

By analyzing the existing platform design, creating hypotheses related to the user experience,and then conducting exhaustive A/B testing (through more than 40 mockups and tests for potential users), we discoveredways of improving all of the areas of usability.
