the corporate world

Aon is a global provider of HR, Financial, IT and Risk Management services that has more than 72,000 employees in 500 offices across 120 countries.  With all of the resources that Aon has access to, it speaks volumes that they chose us to work with us.  We rose to the occasion and used our expertise to develop a state-of-the-art web application for their corporate human resources department.

In February 2016, we received an inquiry from Aon’s Employer Branding Team in Krakow, commissioning us to build a mini web application based on WordPress. The idea behind the project was to provide potential interns and job candidates with a platform to flag their interest in Aon’s career opportunities in a simple, yet intuitive way.

As a reliable technology partner, we used all of the tools at our disposal to bring their vision to life. Aon’s Krakow team is now able to generate new forms on-demand, intelligently group their candidates and filter, sort, edit and export all the data that’s been uploaded into the application. The iPad-optimized version of the app is now widely used at many different job fairs. The platform makes collecting candidate data from events across the country both easy and efficient.

Generating Leads

We genuinely enjoy working with Aon, and – apparently – the feeling is mutual.

They hired us a second time to redesign the Aon Krakow careers website. So, we set out to make that Aon web application more user-friendly while also highlighting the benefits of working at the company.

This project required setting up a landing page, a blog, and many other content resources. At first, we launched the website for the sole purpose of recruitment. During the second phase of the project, we complemented the recruiting aspects of the site with a variety of content to generate more interest from the target audience.

We believe a company’s digital presence can serve as an element that will make it stand out from the competition. A usable, beautifully designed webpage can build your brand’s awareness and help you be remembered. It should also work as smoothly on desktops as it does on mobile devices. In the process of creating Aon’s web application, we successfully checked all of these qualities off the list.

Weekly Recruitment News

We all know how much time it can take to create content for newsletters. That’s why we came up with a web application to assist with content creation. Our core idea was to reduce the time needed to craft content and to keep the process of delivering new material as consistent as possible.

The primary challenge associated with this task was to ensure that the code was fully optimized. After all, you never know what kind of preview an ancient PDA or an Outlook 2005 email will generate.

Guess what – after many sleepless nights, we managed to conquer this task as well.

Safe Galleries

We also created an internal photo gallery page to boost engagement with Aon’s employees. Any Aon employee can use this feature to upload pictures taken during company events.  In addition, we know people value their privacy, so we incorporated safety measures to limit access to private areas of the web application.

It only takes a minute or two.
